Supremacy battle for Telkom as they take on Ghana Police in ACCC opener

Africa Cup for Club Champions (ACCC) seven-time champions Telkom will be having a supremacy battle as they seek to get back the glory they last won while at home as they take on Ghana Police in their first match in the 2018 ACCC in Abuja, Nigeria.

Telkom who had won the championship five times in a row since 2012 failed to retain their continental glory in the 2017 ACCC after being beaten by Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) in Ghana.

According to veteran forward Jacqueline Mwangi, she believes the Kenyan champions are confident ahead of the continental fete and are ready to take back their glory. “We have worked hard since the season started, we have prepared well and very ready for the championship,” said Mwangi.

On the other hand, debutants United States International Univeristy-Africa (USIU-A) Spartans who are also Kenyan representatives at the annual championship will take on hosts Delta Queens in their opening match.
