St. Cecilia Misikhu have qualified to the Kenya Secondary Schools Sports Association Term One Hockey girls’ semifinals with one match left in pool B.

Kerugoya who beat Bura Girls 1-0 in their first preliminary match held St.Cecilia Misikhu to a barren draw in their second match today making them level in points. However, their fate will be known tomorrow when they play their last pool match.

In Pool B, Nyamira girls comfortably beat St. Joseph Kibwezi 4-0, while St. Marys Tachasis beat St. Johns Kaloleni 2-1.

In the boys’ category, St. Anthony Boys Kitale strengthened their semifinal qualification chances today after beating Meru School 2-0 to take them at the helm of the Pool B standings with six points. St.Georges also beat Mpesa Foundation Academy 1-0 in Pool B.

Pool B will see a competitive last round of matches tomorrow as all three teams need a win to qualify for the semifinals.

In boys’ Pool A, Friends School Kamusinga played to a barren draw with Homabay while Nairobi School suffered their second loss in the competition to St. Charles Lwanga.
