The two Kenyan teams featuring in the 2018 Africa Cup for Club champions have so far had contrasting results as they approach match day three.
Kenyan champions Telkom have been at their best with 100 percent win record in three matches. Telkom started the competition against Ghana Police, evergreen forwards Jacqueline Mwangi and Audrey Omaido were on target as they beat the Ghanaian law enforcers 2-1. They went ahead to beat their counterparts United States International University-Africa (USIU-A) with four goals and stamped authority in the championship with a 4-1 win against hosts Delta Queens in their third match.
On the other hand, debutants USIU-A have so far had mixed results with one draw and two losses. The students started the competition with a draw against home-side Delta Queens; they then suffered their first loss to Telkom by four goals to nil and went ahead to be beaten in their third match by defending champions Ghana Revenue Authority.
Both teams now have an uphill task as Telkom are yet to face other hosts Kada Queens and the defending champions Ghana Revenue Authority. USIU-A will be up against Ghana Police and Kada Queens for the remaining two matches in the preliminary round.
