The Kenya Under 18 National Hockey team are confident to take on India in their third group stage match at the 2018 Youth Olympic Games in Buenos Aires today. According to Kevin Lugalia the team's coach, he believes they are able to hold India who are the tournament favorites despite their two early losses to Australia and Canada. It was a day of mixed results in the Kenya Hockey Union men's Premier League as league leaders Butali Warriors managed a 5-0 win against Parklands Sports Club and second placed Green Sharks shared spoils with Nakuru. Butali Warriors started off well as the evergreen forward George Mutira scored the opener in the fifth minute, Constant Wakhura later doubled up the scores in the 11th minute through a penalty stroke past Parkland's shotstopper Farhad Shire. Kenya Youth going for gold in Argentina

The Kenya Under 18 National hockey team will be participating in the 2018 summer youth Olympic games in Buenos Aires from October 7th to 18th and qualified after finishing third in the African Youth Games in July behind South Africa and Zambia respectively. According to Mike Malungu who is the Team Manager, the team has trained well and he believes the team will come back home with gold.
